Comparable readings (methodology v1.3)

  • Scorecards now expose missing coverage instead of presenting a normalized partial reading as fully measured.
  • Rankings, badges, and paid audit delivery require every score-bearing signal; internal audit retries no longer enter public history.
  • Screenshots are stored with the exact score run, fixes are ordered by recoverable headline impact, and future sitemap dates can no longer earn freshness points.
  • Public updates and linked social channels no longer earn duplicate credit across Shareability and Momentum.

The field board is live

  • Turned the homepage field log into a visual board of recent sites and the highest current-calibration readings.
  • High readings compare one latest score per site within a rolling 90-day window, so old methodology versions never compete with the current meter.
  • Every card uses the landing-page frame Vibometer actually read, with the branded score card as a resilient fallback.

Two tiers, not three

  • Simplified the offering: a free score with your top 3 fixes, and the $29 Vibometer Audit with everything else. The email-gated middle tier is gone.
  • The full 23-signal breakdown, channel plan, competitor snapshot, SEO gaps, and 30-day launch sequence now live in the Vibometer Audit.
  • New in the Vibometer Audit: a copy-paste work order for your coding agent (Claude Code, Cursor, or any agent), with guardrails so it fixes honestly instead of gaming the score.

We turned the meter on ourselves

  • Ran Vibometer on vibometer.com. It read 40. Ouch. Fixed everything fixable the same afternoon and re-scored: 88. Full story on the blog.
  • Added sitemap.xml, robots.txt, Open Graph share cards, and a favicon (yes, the distribution-readiness tool was missing its own basics).
  • New: embeddable SVG score badges. Put your live score in your README from any scorecard page.
  • Published this changelog and the blog.

The Vibe pillar (methodology v1.1)

  • New sixth pillar: Vibe. Does your page read as a generic AI template? Deterministic slop-check (stock gradients, emoji bullets, builder badges, Get Started/Learn More button pairs) plus LLM-judged copy originality and visual distinctiveness.
  • The scorecard gauge is now a proper analog meter, with a needle and everything.
  • Fixture tests lock the deterministic vibe signals in place.

ShipScore is now Vibometer

  • Renamed and moved to vibometer.com. Same meter, better name.
  • LLM signals now route through OpenRouter, with model provenance recorded alongside each score run.

v1: the scoring engine

  • 0–100 distribution readiness score across findability, credibility, shareability, positioning, and momentum.
  • Public shareable scorecards with per-pillar breakdowns and guidance for every signal below full marks.
  • $29 Vibometer Audits: channel plan, competitor snapshot, SEO gaps, and a 30-day launch sequence.
